Diammonium phosphate, commonly referred to as (DAP 18-46), is the world’s most used phosphate fertilizer. As a primary nutrient, DAP helps the plant to capture and convert the sun’s energy into useful compounds for the plant. It also stimulates root development and enhances the durability of the stems.

Usage: In addition to its wide usage in the agricultural sector, DAP is also used to impregnate matches, and as a flame-retardant (for fighting forest fires).

Linear alkylbenzene (LAB) is found in all kinds of detergent formulations like for household, laundry, dishwashing.

(LAB) is a basic raw material to produce linear alkylbenzene sulphonic acid (LAS). After neutralization it is the most common active ingredient in biodegradable detergents.

Usage: Sulphonation of linear alkylbenzene (LAB) leads to formation of the relevant sulphonic acid (LABSA). The neutralized LABSA is the most versatile tensio-active and the one most amply used in all kinds of detergent formulations like powder, liquid, gel, admixtures, bars, and tablets.

Ammonia is a colourless gas (99.9% concentrated) with a strong characteristic odour. It is available in gaseous form and boils at -34°C. In a liquid state, ammonia has to be transported under pressure or in a refrigerated state. The molecular formular is NH3. Ammonia contains about 82% nitrogen. Ammonia reacts strongly with acids to produce salts: Nitric acid into ammonium nitrate, sulphuric acid into ammonium sulphate, phosphoric acid into ammonium phosphates and hydrochloric acid into ammonium chloride.

Usage: More than 80% of all ammonia is consumed as fertilizer as a salt or solution. The main fertilizers are urea, UAN, ammonium phosphates (DAP, MAP, NP), ammonium nitrate (AN) and ammonium sulphate (AS). In a diluted form it is used as a household cleaner with 5-10% ammonia content.

Urea is the highest nitrogen (46 %) content fertilizer that makes it one of the most vital fertilizers for crops in agriculture. Our supply of Urea from Egypt, North Africa and the MENA region reaches the shores of North America, LATAM countries, and Europe.

Usage: More than 90% of the world urea production is allocated for agricultural use as nitrogen fertilizer. Urea is either applied directly as straight fertilizer to the soil, or as an ingredient for various tailor-made bulk blends. Alternatively, urea is also a valuable raw material for compound fertilizers, as well as in solutions for fertigation. Another very important application of urea is the production of chemical compounds, such as formaldehyde resins and adhesives, widely used in the chipboard and furniture industry. Very high technical quality urea is used automobile system for reduction of the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases.
